GET EPIC SHIT DONE!

My second book launches for pre-order today (and starts shipping Dec 17th 2022).
It is called GET EPIC SHIT DONE.

When I was a college student, there used to be this book containing answers to the last 10 years’ question papers.
We used to call it a kunji in Delhi.
That book helped me immensely, to prepare for my exams.

In my second book, I have attempted to create the same book for life.

Written as a conversation between a student and a teacher, GET EPIC SHIT DONE answers 36 life questions that you face almost everyday, questions that you need answers to.

I have personally signed 20,000 copies as part of this pre-order, so order now to get a signed copy of GET EPIC SHIT DONE!

RESPONSES TO LAST WEEK'S QUESTION

Last week I asked you:

How much total money did you make in the past 12 months?

Here are the responses:

Observations:

  • Observe the medians - those are the most likely outcomes for the group (the averages are clouded by the max earning people).
  • Which means, if you are in the following salary ranges, you represent MOST of what the world gets:
    • 23-30yrs: Between 4.5L-8L
    • 31-40yrs: Between 19L-35L
    • 40+ yrs: Between 37-64L
  • I share the max not to create FOMO but to tell you HOW FAR AWAY the max is from the average, clearly establishing that the max is never the normal. It is a very small section of society. Do not compare yourself with them and make yourself miserable.

My response?
I earned 48L in the last 12 months as a salary (from my own company). I do not take any other money from the company.

PICTURE OF THE WEEK

On Saturday I attended 2 events in Mumbai - the Spotify Creator Day and the India Today Conclave. Had a lot of fun at both - they were so different from each other in their content, vibe and audience. Clearly my outfit reflected the tonality of the event :))

QUESTION OF THE WEEK

Will you be watching the T20 Cricket WC Final?

  1. Yes

I had to ask! When I met my current wife, Ruchi, at the age of 19 while in college, she was way out of my league! I was the super geeky and serious kid.I had strong notions about what is right and wrong.I was too uptight.I would even call myself sad at that point.Too serious. And took myself too seriously. She, on the other hand, was the Shahrukh Khan in everybody’s life.Happy and going with the flow :))Forever smiling.Everyone adored her.Her happiness made everyone else happy around her. We...

If it's just hard work, why wouldn't you do it? Our colony had the Tennis Singles Finals this morning. I lost. While I feel slightly bad about it, I am happy about 2 things: 1/ I didn't play it safe. I played aggressively and took my chances. It's another thing that most chances did not work out :)) But I tried! 2/ I know exactly where I went wrong and what I need to do to fix it. The distance between where I am and where I wish to be can be covered by hard work. You see, a lot of us are...

5 things I believed to be true when I was a kid; only to realize they are not! Money is finite. If one becomes rich, someone else becomes poor. I was convinced that there was only a limited amount of money in the world. And that the rich make money by taking it from someone else. Wealth is only distributed. Today, I know wealth can be created. By adding value. I shared an example of Maggi in my book, Make Epic Money. A pack of Maggi costs 10/20 rupees. But open it, cook it, add some veggies...
